Nidra for Healing and Deep Rest
What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra or 'yogic sleep' uses a trained facilitator to take you into a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping via a guided meditation.
This is where our brain waves move between active Beta waves to more relaxed Alpha and Theta waves allowing for deep relaxation and healing.
This is followed by a 'Gong Bath'.
A gong bath is a form of sound bath meditation where participants lie down while being surrounded by the vibrations and sounds of the gong. The goal is to promote relaxation, stress relief, and healing through the power of sound.

Many of us like to be a little scared in a safe, playful way. Listening to your body can prevent injury, but challenging yourself can teach you to remain in the moment when we encounter scary situations on and off the mat.
This is one of my all time favorite practices!
Join me for a scary good time in this Halloween practice, complete with scary music, frightening new posture names, Halloween quiz, and a very different savasana!
*Costumes Optional
