Experience the Senses thru Yoga~ 

 Yoga is a  vast system of practice that provides tools for inner growth. It teaches us how to understand the different aspects of our nature and how to harmonize these with the universe within and around us.
How do the senses play into our practice, our breath, movement, proprioception (sense of body position) and pratyahara 

(sensory withdrawal).
Join in this unique 2 hour yogic workshop using sensory input and withdrawal to connect body and mind.
This will be a more gentle practice, appropriate for most practitioners.

PROPRIOCEPTION WORKSHOP

Incorporating small weights to a yoga class adds a completely different dimension to your practice.

Combining traditional yoga poses with strength training exercises using dumbbells offers a dynamic workout that builds muscle strength, enhances balance,  and improves bone density, while also providing a balanced yoga practice.

PROPRIOCEPTION WORKSHOP

 Proprioception means a perception or sense of the body's position in the space around it.

Proprioceptors are specialized sensors that deliver information to the brain relating to changes in movement, position, tension, force, and environment.

Proprioception can worsen with age, injury, or disease, making daily tasks more  difficult, and increasing your risk of injury or falls.


Join me for this 2 hour workshop as we delve into proprioception and exercises to improve balance and spatial awareness.
