Combining traditional yoga poses with strength training exercises using light dumbbells offers a dynamic workout that builds muscle strength, enhances balance, and improves bone density, while also providing a balanced yoga practice.

The Sturgeon Moon is the Algonquian name for the full moon in August, when the sturgeon were easiest to catch in the Great Lakes.
During the August full moon, we are working with double illumination- the intensity of the summer sun and the peak of the moon's glow.
This can be an intense period, especially around the days of the full moon.
Join me for a 2 hour extended practice as we honor this full moon and the intensity it can bring to our lives during the summer season with a less intense Yin practice,
followed by a relaxing Yoga Nidra.
